Fixed seats and tables
If tables are provided, such as in restaurants and snack bars, and the tables are wall or floor mounted (fixed), then 5% of the tables or at least one (if less than 20 are provided) must be accessible, if this is easily achievable. Accessible seating should be provided, if readily practicable, at each accessible table to accommodate wheelchair users. (framed)
Where stationary seating or stationary tables are provided, accessible seating should be provided, if easily accessible. If it is not readily practicable to provide the minimum number of accessible tables in all areas where fixed tables are provided, then services should be provided in an alternate accessible location, if readily practicable.
